WHAT WE LIKE: The Volkswagen’s seats continue to earn praise, especially during two separate long-haul trips to Virginia from Michigan. Supportive and not restricting, the Golf’s chairs keep butt numbness at bay and even do a decent job of holding the front occupants in place during spirited driving. In fact, the interior as a whole impresses daily, with nice materials and an understated, mature layout and design.
