: If pop music can teach us anything, it’s that a familiar hook can make for a big hit. The same applies to cars, and Nissan’s application of a proven formula—provide a lot for a little—to its 2015 Altima sedan keeps the model scoring big on the sales charts, behind only the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord among mid-size sedans. The Altima was last redesigned in 2012 for the 2013 model year, at which point it adopted styling and material choices inspired by—or in some cases borrowed directly from—Nissan’s Infiniti luxury brand.
