AutoPage Car Starters – A overview of the best models

In this article, we’ll take a deep dive into AutoPage’s remote car starters. For those of you that don’t know this brand, it’s one of the most well-renowned brand in the industry — along with Viper.

Like most other manufacturers, AutoPage also has a wide variety of products — spanning from cheaper entry-level kits, to more advanced kits with more features. It all comes down to how much you wish to spend, and how much “cool stuff” you want along with the car starter. The simplest kits does exactly what a remote car starter is meant to do: it remotely starts your car. The more advanced kits will also have keyless entry, alarm functionality and other goodies.

Anyways, let’s get to it:

AutoPage Remote Car Starter with Keyless Entry – C3-RS603

Simple, but it does the job!

One of our readers writes:

Now this product is originally listed for $139 dollars, but when I found it on Amazon it was going for less than half of that, compared to other Autopage Car Starters… so naturally my concern is “what is this product doing wrong?” So as a shopper I went to the reviews…

More or less people were just as happy with it, because the product did what it promised. Apparently when people go out looking for remote starters they think some magical fairy comes flying down to whisk their car away to repair island. You’re going to spend some coin! Get over it!

The remote starter was professionally installed by a buddy of mine—don’t we all have one? It took a bit of trickery on his part… nah, just kidding; he was actually following the instructions as they’re provided, he wanted to make sure he was doing it right… and lo and behold, a few hours later we were having that thing start up my car with every press of the button.

It literally did what it said it would do, plus I saved a fortune on one of those fancy jobs. I was just happy hands-down with this… but then again some people might claim that my tastes are simpler than others, or maybe they just complain too much?

No matter what the case though it’s nice to have a car adequately running and ready to go for me, which leaves me to just put the key in the ignition, set myself up for a nifty little ride, and drive off into the sunset like some James Bond character or something.

I don’t really do the second part since I only own a 2008 Honda. Oh, that’s another thing too, not that the vehicle ‘really’ matters, but you do want to make sure you’re keeping these products within a range of a certain year. I notice some car reviews go on about having it ‘this model year or newer’, well, use that as a guideline because I have an ’08, but if your car is like a ’97 or somewhere around there, you should expect complications to come up along the way too.

Just know what you’re buying and its relation to your car first before you buy it; once you have that step covered then you can just go through a whole list of Autopage Car Starters until you’re blue in the face.

I for one am just happy with what I bought. I wasn’t looking for a fancy alarm to keep it safe or anything, just a simple, honest product and I got just that, and honestly I think you will too—don’t pass this offer up!

This is a big step up from the previous kit — for those of you that want more.

To be honest: I love this thing! … and I love the customer service I received from AutoPage:

Way too often do we find ourselves bogged down with hundreds, sometimes even thousands of products, all promising us to do the same thing… like we’re asking it to do… but even better than the next product will manage it, or whatever else in between. When I came across this product over six months ago—and it failed on me in that time—I thought I was going to have a horrible time, but as Autopage car starters go, I was pleasantly surprised.

Nobody likes dealing with customer service reps, because we think they’re horrible people. But I spent about $200 dollars on this a few months ago and wasn’t about to let it go to waste. I call the Customer Service line and found them quick and responsive… not only did they walk me through quick trouble-shooting steps, and even worked with my mechanic when I decided to bring it in, I found out the only issue was a loose wire (don’t ask me which, I’m not a huge ‘car person’). Like they promised with their warranty, they were more than ready to not only replace the item, but help me out in making sure it was fixed originally. I spent maybe a half an hour tops at the mechanics, and even the mechanic gave me his time and service for free over the simple fix.

That was at the six month mark… two months later I still have yet to have an issue with this product, thanks you guys!

Save some money, do it yourself!

Anyone who knows cars like I know cars knows that they all have one thing in common; you should be learning to do this stuff on your own! I change my own oil and save a rough average of 20 to 25 bucks an oil change, and all it costs me in extra expenses is the occasional trip out to the recycle plant to turn in my used oil and such. But in the long run, keeping my machine running well is always the key.

Well, recently I decided to add a luxury item to the ranks. I live out in Arizona and it’s always so hot out here. My 2010 Buick Lacrosse is wonderful as a vehicle but it also doesn’t do it for me when it comes to the heat on my leather seats. So I’d do like anyone and give it a small start, let the AC run for a bit before I go anywhere.

Well that became issue when I started burning myself and sweating up a storm while jumping in real quick, so as I’m browsing Autopage Car Starters online I come across the Autopage vehicle security system. It provides an anti-scan receiver shift button for people who try to steal the autostart frequency on it, and comes with all the original added features of any key fob that I’ve seen to date. In the end I got peace of mind for my car AND a starter to help me through the harsh summer weather.
